Child Custody and Child Arrangements: What Do the Terms Actually Mean?

One thing that confuses a lot of parents is the language around child custody. In England and Wales, the courts no longer use the term “custody” — instead, arrangements for children are dealt with through what’s called a Child Arrangements Order.
